Rye & District Community Transport, established 1994, operates a 16-seat, coach-built minibus to provide Age Concern day centre servicing on three days a week, and outings for some 40 clubs, social groups, churches and schools for the remainder of the week. Its 10 MiDAS-trained drivers are all volunteers.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Rye CT runs a second vehicle as a Dial-a-Ride for local people with mobility problems. Details of this service can be obtained from the Dial-a-Ride
co-ordinator on: 01797 227722.

Since September 2001, Rye CT have also run a scheduled bus service (which means you do not need to ring and make a booking). The bus route around the town of Rye includes the high street, Cadborough Cliff and the railway station.
