St John Ambulance
This national charity operates a fleet of 50 vehicles placed strategically throughout Sussex at a number of bases, some of which are 4-wheel drive vehicles and some are conventional ambulance. A few have ramps for wheelchair access. All requests for transport should be made to the division nearest to you in the directory although you can always contact us if in difficulty.

British Red Cross Society
The British Red Cross Society provide short-term community services to care for people in need and in crisis.
People who find it difficult or impossible to use public or private transport unaided can be provided with drivers and/or escorts to help them make essential journeys.
