Hiring Social Services Vehicles

Drivers must be over 21 years and under 65 years old with a full and clean driver's licence held for at least 3 years with minibus entitlement. Drivers will have to undertake a driving assessment and theory/risk management course. Upon successful completion, an East Sussex County Council permit will be issued - valid for three years.

Please contact the Transport Co-Ordinator to make arrangements.

The hiring organisation will need to provide their own Section 19 Permit. A Section 19 Permit vehicle cannot be used to provide services to thegeneral public. It should only be used for those members or clients of the organisation whom it is authorised to carry as passengers.
