Bus Information

East Sussex County Council publishes a free timetable book which gives details of all bus services that operate in East Sussex. Included in the timetable book, are maps which show all the routes of the various services. Copies of the book are available, free of charge, from public libraries, Tourist Information Centres, local councils, bus companies and travel centres, etc.

County Rider Services - Accessible transport for all

Some of the local bus services provided by the County Council are given the name COUNTY RIDER. These use vehicles which are equipped with special facilities for the elderly and people with a disability, including users of wheelchairs. COUNTY RIDER services run just like ordinary bus routes, but at certain times of the day they provide transport for school children and people who use Social Services centres. They can also provide a door-to-door service for people with disabilities who want access to the various destinations which are served.
